Littleton

Monica Broughton, Principal
Jeff Sanders, Assistant Principal

Dr. Carrie D. Robinson Littleton Elementary is where tradition meets innovation. We have a proud history of high performing students and a dedicated, hard-working staff. Since Dr. Robinson first opened the school’s doors as Littleton Academy in 1992, we have maintained a clear vision of high academic success. We continue to provide the structure of routines, with an emphasis on environmental science and a commitment to community development. We serve approximately 530 students from Pre-K to 5th grade. We maintain our sense of school community and dedicate ourselves to meet the needs of each individual student.

The students here at Littleton Elementary not only experience a quality Common Core Standards-based education, but also have the opportunity for multiple extension activities through everything from the arts and dance programs to Environmental Education Club. Within the school setting we meet all remediation activities for the students through programs such as After School Tutorials and small group intensive classes. We also meet the needs of enrichment through our Multiple Works Area classes.

With an innovative administration and strong teacher leaders, Littleton Elementary is on the cutting edge for instructional strategies, technological resources, and positive behavior supports. Through the multitude of initiatives and programs here at Littleton, each child experiences the quality education that helps us fulfill our mission and leads our district to becoming a world class school system.

Our Vision
Our students will be provided a structured education stressing strong foundational skills as well as a shared responsibility with parents and teachers.

Our Mission
The Robinson Littleton Elementary faculty and staff will ensure that each student achieves his/her highest personal potential. The curriculum will change as required to fulfill this responsibility by providing for the implementation of educational programs, instructional techniques, and classroom management systems. Our mission will be accomplished within the framework of the local and state educational goals.

A Uniform School
Littleton Elementary is a uniform school. School uniforms are a proactive way for us to maintain a professional atmosphere conducive to learning. Uniform bottoms are navy blue or khaki. Uniform tops must have a collar and be a solid white, red, or navy blue shirt. Girls are able to wear jumpers, skirts, or skorts in navy blue or khaki.
